I grew up scared

I was scared of school, crowds, speaking up and standing out. Everything felt like a risk to me. I kept Imodium AD in my backpack to cope with the fallout from anxiety. While my peers seemed to effortlessly transition from home to school to recess and sports, I wanted to hide in the bathroom - which I did.

I wasn’t born brave, I had to learn it.

I’ve spent my life taking every road to it’s dead end. Sometimes I turned around and other times, with trembling feet I made my own path into the wilderness. Alone.

I coach because I don’t want you to be alone. There is a time and a place to do the solitary work, but if you want a guide to walk with you and hold the lantern a few steps ahead, I can do that.

This is especially true as a business owner. Since my teen years I have been the ultimate wing-woman. First, I helped my dad grow his youth group to one of the largest in our area. I pursued a life in the ministry and quit when I realized not one theology fits us all. I took a job in full-time, 100% commission sales until 2007 when the economy started to slow. It was then that a financial advisor asked me to join his team to lead the client communications and marketing. What was meant to be a 2 year stint became 15 years.

I came alongside the owner of the firm to help lead business development by hiring our own consultants and creating a design team to execute on our original ideas. It seems the life of partnership is the life for me! In fact, it inspired me to become a certified coach in 2014.

If we are a match, I’d love to join you to help take your business from here to the way you image it. You can do it alone, but you don’t have to.

As the ultimate wing-woman I offer perspective, original ideas that work and professional connections to make it all work.

"But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do -
determined to save
the only life you could save."
